What is the manga Demon Slayer (Kimetsu-no-Yaiba)?

Outline of “Demon Slayer”

The work was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020.

The story is about a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, who lost his family after his sister was turned into a demon, and fights evil demons in order to turn her back into a human.

The main story has 205 episodes (23 volumes), and has been adapted into an external manga, a novel, and even an anime by ufotable.

The “Fate stay/night” series is a famous example!

Currently, the anime is airing up to the ” Swordsmith Village” version.

Since the manga has already been completed, Demon Slayer is ideal for those who want to read it in one sitting.

The main character is a Kazebashira(wind pillar), Sanemi Shinazugawa, whose relationship with his best friend, Masachika Kumeno, who appeared in episode 168 of the main story, is explored in depth.

Summary: “Demon Slayer” is a manga with a great worldview.

Demon Slayer is a work in which one can enjoy battles, coming-of-age, and Tanjiro’s growth, as is typical of shōnen manga.

However, its appeal does not stop there; the worldview, characterization, and foreshadowing are meticulously designed.

And yet, you hardly feel the storyline is sluggish.

Boy

Want to enjoy exhilarating Japanese-style battles with the sunken sword!

Girl

I want to fully enjoy the characters and the world of the work!

I recommend this manga to the above people.
