Shin Megami Tensei V
This game is the latest in the “Megaten” series, which features a dark world and a rich array of monster characters.
It is independent from other Megaten series titles, so you can start playing from “Shin Megami Tensei V”.

This RPG game features an overly-crunchy battle system.
However, it is designed to be beginner-friendly, with three levels of difficulty to choose from.
Advanced players are recommended to play on “Normal” difficulty or higher.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
If you are playing RPGs for the first time, you should definitely play the Pokemon series.
This game has a great storyline and challenging elements.
It can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced players alike.
“Brilliant Diamond” and “Shining Pearl” do not differ in their main storylines.
The difference between the two games is in the Pokémon that appear and the detailed story sub-elements.
If you are not sure, you may want to choose one based on your preference of Pokémon in the package.
Danganronpa Decadence
The “Danganronpa” series remains one of the most popular action-reasoning games of all time.
Danganronpa Decadence includes the following games
- Danganronpa
- Super Danganronpa 2
- New Danganronpa V3
- Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (EXTRA)
For these games, I “strongly” recommend playing them in order, starting with (1).
This is because each game after Super Danganronpa 2 contains spoilers for the previous title.
If you want to enjoy Danganronpa from now on, just buy one Danganronpa Decadence.
You will definitely want to do two or three weeks of any story in this game series.
Ōkami
This game is one of the masterpiece action games that we recommend for Japanese style game lovers.

The main character in this game is the great goddess Amaterasu.
She looks like a “white wolf” and is a gentle doggie with a bland appearance.
- Amaterasu will heal you.
- You fight against the great monsters with “Brush Shirabe”.
- Enjoy the spectacular scenery in the game.
In addition to the above elements, there are many other ways to enjoy the game.
Of course, the story is also exceptional.
The exhilaration you’ll feel after reaching the end is something I hope you’ll experience!

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
This game is the second classic action game that I would recommend to lovers of Japanese style games.
The Japanese version is titled “Tensui no Sakunahime”.

- Sakuna and her friends defeat their enemies.
The game has an unusual training system, as described above.
I especially recommend this game to those who are tired of just leveling up and defeating enemies.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles
This is the third classic action game that we recommend to lovers of Japanese-style games.
This game is based on the manga “Demon Slayer” (Kimetsu no Yaiba).
This is a masterpiece game that can be recommended to those who have already enjoyed Demon Slayer and to those who are not yet familiar with Demon Slayer.
